Magnesia phosphorica is known as the anti-spasmodic tissue salt. It is recommended for sharp and shooting pain such as: neuralgia, nervous spasms, muscular cramps and menstrual pain. S8 can also be used for chronic arthritis and rheumatism and is quick to relieve pain in sciatica (mostly on the right side).
This remedy is also used in lung affections such as whooping cough, asthma, and chronic bronchitis.
Finally, use it for writer's cramps, colics (intestinal, hepatic, nephritic), stomach cramps, hiccups, vomiting, twitching, chorea and headaches.
INDICATIONS: Conditions which demonstrate functional loss at the myoneural junction. Spasms; neuralgias; anxiety, tension depression, confusion, disorientation, hyperexcitability. Angina, hypercholesterolemia.
USES: 1. Low energy states; fatigue, depression, apathy, stupor. 2. Loss of nervous regulation - extreme nervous irritability; neurotic disorders. 3. Muscular cramping; skeletal or smooth muscle spasm; pains are sharp and shooting. 4. P.M.S.; menstrual cramping and pain. 5. Cardiovascular irregularities, pain, arrhythmias. 6. Learning difficulties and behaviour disorders in children. 7. Alcoholism; drug abuse. 8. Spasmodic abdominal pains. 9. Impaired renal function.

SUGGESTED DOSAGE FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS:
0 to 1 year* 1 tablet 1 to 5 years* 2 tablets 6 to 11 years 3 tablets 12 years and older 4 tablets *For children under 5 years of age, dissolve tablet in water.
• ACUTE CASES (3X or 6X): In general, administer every 15 minutes, half-hour, hourly, or in 2 hour intervals, as required, depending on the intensity of the symptoms.
• SUBACUTE CASES (6X): 3 to 4 times a day for a relatively extended period of time.
• CHRONIC CASES (6X and/or 12X): 6X - 2 to 3 times a day for an extended period of time.
12X - once a day, up to 7 times a week, for an extended period of time.
• INFANTS: 1 tablet at a time, dissolved in some warm spring water.
More than one salt can be taken concurrently; use in alternation.
Schuessler salt tablets should be allowed to dissolve under the tongue
