Anemia; lack of appetite, especially in children; anemia accompanied by distension and bloating. After-effect of acute ailments. Anemia of various etiology, frequently induced by the liberation of new toxins during the treatment of other illnesses.
Aranea diadema D30 1 g, Arsenum iodatum D6 1 g, Ceanothus americanus D6 1 g, China D6 1 g, Ferrum sesquichloratum D6 1 g, Lycopodium D12 1 g, Sulfur D30 1 g. Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.
Mode of action
The therapeutic action of R31 is twofold; it acts directly on the liver by causing stimulation of the biliary system (China and Lycopodium). R31 also causes selective activation of bone marrow elements (Ferrum sesqui-chloratum). Arsenum iodatum has a beneficial effect on cellular metabolism. This action extends to, and stimulates hematopoiesis. Splenic function is enhanced by Ceanothus americanus.
The action of R31 becomes readily noticeable after the first few days of treatment. It functions to increase the appetite and cause an increase in blood elements, without undue excess to the organism. R31 acts to positively alter the physiology of the body and promote optimal function, thus causing no adverse or undesirable effects to the organism. The individual remedy actions and symptomatology follow below:
Aranea diadema: Chilliness, lack of vital heat; enlargement of the spleen.
Arsenum iodatum: Encourages the appetite; influences cellular metabolism; restlessness.
Ceanothus americanus: Enlargement and tenderness of the spleen (i.e. after malaria). Positively influences the lymphatic and hematopoietic systems; feeling of heaviness in the left hypochondrium.
China: Fluid loss aggravates symptoms; hepatomegaly, splenomegaly causing bloating or distension of the abdomen; anemia; lack of appetite; history of malaria.
Ferrum sesquichloratum: Secondary anaemia; induces an increase in the quantity of blood elements; swelling of the spleen.
Lycopodium: Tonic remedy for the liver; bloating and distension; lack of appetite or early satiety; reddish urinary sediment.
Sulfur: Universally intervenes in biochemical processes which are indispensable to vital functioning of the organism; useful for disturbed circulation and congestive phenomena.
