Homeopathic medicine

SCIATICA

Sciatica; sciatica as a result of mechanical compression or irritation of the lumbar spinal nerve roots. Paresthesia, sensory and/or motor functional deficits.

Ingredients

Aconitum D4 2 g, Arsenicum album D30 2 g, Colocynthis D4 2 g, Gnaphalium polycephalum D3 2 g, Magnesium phosphoricum D8 2 g. Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.

Description

Mode of action
Aconitum: Sudden inflammatory conditions, especially after exposure to cold, dry wind; numb and paralyzed sensations of the lower extremities.

Arsenicum album: Coldness of the extremities; pains are burning, aggravated around midnight and ameliorated by the application of heat.

Colocynthis: Violent pains that are aggravated by the slightest movement and ameliorated from hard pressure. Cutting, cramping pains along the sciatic nerve; right-sided sciatica; better lying on the painful side, worse with the heat of bed.

Gnaphalium polycephalum: Sciatic nerve pains associated with a sensation of numbness, extension to the calves and feet; worse in bed; ameliorated by sitting upright.

Magnesium phosphoricum: Cramping, shooting pains along the nerve length; sciatica with cramping, shooting pains which do not localize; pains are worse from cold and ameliorated by hot compresses.

Quantity

22 ml, 50 ml

Dose

Adults and children ≥ 12 years 5-10 drops 1-3 times daily in a little water or undiluted or as directed by a health care practitioner.
