CICATIN - CALENDULA (TOPICAL)

Effective wound healer and bactericidal (prevents local infection). May be applied directly to: minor cuts, contusions, insect bites, rashes, burns, and scratches.

Calendula officinalis MT 90 g. Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.

Description

Mode of action
Calendula: Antiseptic, astringent, antihemorrhagic; promotes reconstruction of tissue, reduces inflammation and discharge.

• Gentle wash for conjunctivitis, cuts, and wounds
• Topical antiseptic rinse for infections
• Gargle for an inflamed mouth or throat, healing cankers or sores in the mouth
• For the above conditions dilute 1:10 with water, can be applied directly in cases of minor burns (think oven burn), sunburns and acne

Adults and children ≥ 2 years apply lotion topically to affected area as needed, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

• Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
• It may be diluted 1:10 with boiled water.

• Do not use on open wounds due to its alcohol content
