Bronchial asthma and asthmatic bronchitis; constitu-tional treatment of chronic bronchial asthma.

Ingredients

Arsenicum album D8 1 g, Belladonna D30 1 g, Bryonia D12 1 g, Carbo vegetabilis D30 1 g, Kalium phosphoricum D30 1 g, Natrium chloratum D30 1 g, Natrium sulfuricum D200 1 g, Sus scrofa (pituitary gland) D30 1 g, Veratrum album D30 1 g, Yerba santa D12 1 g. Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.

Description

Mode of action
The basic principle behind the constitutional treatment of asthma is the reactivation or intensification of the organism's defensive functions. This is a very different approach than conventional methods which suppresses the release of, or the uptake of histamine rather than stimulating the defensive system. This allopathic restriction of natural responses, may actually force the condition deeper. The use of R43 acts to prevent and/or correct this.

Arsenicum album: Intense restlessness, anxiety, fear of death. Asthma, worse 12 AM - 2 AM, worse sitting upright; dyspnea; bronchitis.

Belladonna: Sudden, violent onset of asthma; dryness of the mucosa; spasms, with intense cramp-like pains; hot perspiration on the face.

Bryonia: Desires solitude, irritable; remedy mainly affects the serous and mucous membranes; bronchitis.

Carbo vegetabilis: Mental indifference, apathy, and irritability; desires to be fanned or requires open air; dyspnea, must sit up in bed.

Kalium phosphoricum: Mental and physical exhaustion; nerve nutrient; effective in nervous asthma, ameliorated by rest.

Natrium chloratum: Asthma in the evening, worse 5 to 7 PM; sighing; dryness of the mucosa.

Natrium sulfuricum: Catarrhal asthma aggravated by exposure to humidity; productive cough with sensitivity of the thorax; sadness and depression.

Sus scrofa (pituitary gland): For disturbances in endocrine function - a causative factor in asthma.

Veratrum album: Profuse cold sweat, asthma.

Yerba santa: Bronchial asthma with cough and expectoration.

Dose

Adults and children ≥ 12 years 5-10 drops 1-3 times daily in a little water or undiluted or as directed by a health care practitioner.
