Description

Natural Factors ApplePectinRich Super Strength Apple Pectin Concentrate is a unique pectin-rich product made from whole apples, including the flesh, core and especially the peel, which concentrates pectin and other phytonutrients. ApplePectinRich is standardized to ensure consistency and potency, and provides 300 mg of fibre per 500 mg capsule.

Eating apples is consistently associated with better health due to natural high levels of antioxidants, phytonutrients, and both soluble and insoluble fibre. Pectin is the soluble fibre in apples and is especially beneficial due to its ability to improve digestive health by acting as a prebiotic fibre and promoting healthy stomach and intestinal mucosa. Because it creates bulk and slows gastric emptying, it also increases satiety while balancing blood sugar and cholesterol. Pectins are complex polysaccharides (fibres) present in the cell walls of plants.

ApplePectinRich also contains green tea extract standardized to 50% catechins for optimal antioxidant protection.
