Indications

Niacin (Vitamin B3) supplementation has been used successfully to lower cholesterol, improve circulation and treat diabetes, osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis and Raynaud's phenomenon.Inositol is used primarily for the treatment of liver disorders, depression and panic disorders and diabetes. As a lipotropic factor, it promotes the exportation of fat from the liver. Inositol is necessary for the proper functioning of brain neurotransmitters, including acetylcholine and serotonin. Inositol supplementation has also been shown to increase nerve conduction velocities and alleviate the symptoms of diabetic neuropathy.

Inositol hexanicotinate[myo-Inositol, hexa-3-pyridinecarboxylate]... 500 mg
Inositol... 97.5 mg
Nicotinic acid... 402.5 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule shell), Brown Rice Flour.

Description

Inositol Hexaniacinate safely exerts the benefits of niacin without flushing or other side effects. Each ingredient, inositol and niacin, benefit a number of conditions. Niacin functions in the body as a component in the coenzymes NAD and NADP, which are involved in numerous chemical reactions in the body. These reactions are essential in the production of energy and regulating blood sugar levels and blood lipid levels and the manufacture of sex and adrenal hormones. Niacin is also involved with antioxidant and detoxification pathways.

1 capsule once per day with food or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Potential side effects/Safety

Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of liver disease. If you are taking blood thinners/anticoagulants, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you develop symptoms of liver trouble (such as abdominal pain, dark urine, or jaundice), discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. People sensitive to nicotinic acid may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient. Do not use if security seal is broken.
