Description

B. subtilis is a soil based organism and is fungicidal, and is an immunostimulant that was widely used as a treatment for gastrointestinal and urinary tract diseases prior to the introduction of antibiotics. It supports gut repair by increasing IgA and butyrate, and produces over 12 antibiotics. It ferments Vitamin K in the gut, which is essential for growth and repair. It has a positive impact on inflammatory and autoimmune markers. It is also shelf stable and resistant to breakdown by gastric acids.
