Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg

Description

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is the " universal antioxidant.” It is fat and water soluble, and is capable of regenerating several other antioxidants, including vitamin C, vitamin E, glutathione, and coenzyme Q10. This form of lipoic acid is the racemic mixture, providing both R and S forms in equal amounts.

60 capsules

Dose

1 serving (1 capsule) 1-2x daily or as directed.

Potential side effects/Safety

Caution in diabetics. May worsen thiamine deficiency. May cause diarrhea even at low doses. Drug interactions may exist.
