Traditionally used in herbal medicine as an emollient to help relieve the discomfort and dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) due to dryness and irritation of the throat.

Ingredients

Honey 98.5%, Eucalyptus globulus (blue gum) (leaf) 0.825%, Melaleuca quinquenervia (niaouli) (leaf) 0.15%, Pinus sylvestris (scots pine) (needle) 0.15%. Non-medicinal ingredients: lemon peel essential oil, cassia essential oil.

Description

To fully enjoy all of winter’s pleasures, there is nothing like aromatherapy to support one’s natural defences and help face life’s daily ailments. Enriched with essential oils of Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Lemon and Niaouli, this " traditional " recipe brings immediate comfort. Can be used pure or diluted in a warm drink (milk / water / infusion).

Quantity

100 ml

Dose

Adults, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 2-3 times per day. Boil water and add a dose (5 ml) and mix well. Breathe in the vapours and drink hot or warm. For use beyond 10 days, consult a health care practitioner.

Potential side effects/Safety

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have asthma. Do not use in cases of inflammation and/or ulceration of the gastrointestinal system. Do not use in cases of inflammation of the bile ducts and liver diseases.
Know adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity (i.e. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
