Spike Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils are used in aromatherapy to help relieve earaches. Tea Tree, Peppermint, Rosemary, Bay Laurel and Clove essential oils are used in aromatherapy to help relieve sinus congestion.

Treating sinus and ear infections efficiently can often feel impossible. They consist of acute problems stemming from various infectious sources. They manifest themselves through mucopurulent productions and induce great deals of pain. Furthermore, they are often viral, and thus, in many cases, antibiotics are powerless against them.
AROMAVITA 49 provides a solution to these painful ENT infections:
• It is formulated with 4 major essential oils, each having both antiseptic and analgesic profiles: Clove, Bay Laurel, Tea Tree, and broad-leaved Lavender.
• Thanks to the high dilution of the cloves, these antiseptic essential oils are fairly well tolerated by the skin, allowing a more concentrated use of the mixture.
• Broad-leaved Lavender, Peppermint, and Rosemary verbenone are all important sources of terpene ketones. These gradually help dissolve and solubilize mucopurulent debris.
• Finally, classified as antinociceptive, Peppermint, Bay Laurel and Clove form a strong pillar in the fight against sinus and ear pain, by reducing the nerve sensitivity.
AROMAVITA 49 constitutes a complete, skin-friendly mixture that offers a clinical response to multiple aspects of ear and sinus infections.
Please note that this product should never be applied directly to the ear canal. It must instead be applied to the peri-auricular area after dilution in a carrier oil (Calendula for example). Experienced therapists may choose to consider sinusitis massage, using a few drops of pure mixture to accelerate action.

Adults ( ≥ 18 years): Local application: add 1-4 drops to 5 ml of neutral vegetable carrier oil and apply to affected area up to 3 times per day. Do not use essential oils undiluted. Do not apply in ears or nostrils.
Direct inhalation: apply 1-6 drops of undiluted essential oil to handkerchief/tissue and inhale occasionally up to 3 times per day.
For occasional use only. External use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil or water. Store at room temperature.
Cautions and warnings:
- Keep out of reach of children.
- If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner.
- If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
- Avoid exposing affected/treated areas to sunlight.
- Do not expose the applied area(s) to the sun for 24 to 48 hours after application. (AROMAVITA 7, 8, 16, 49, 82, 95, 98, 101)
Contraindications:
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product.
- If you have broken, irritated or sensitive skin do, not use this product. (AROMAVITA 1, 7, 8, 16, 49, 55, 80, 82, 93, 95, 98, 101)
Known adverse reactions:
- If you experience nausea, dizziness, headache or an allergic reaction, discontinue use.
- Hypersensitivity has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
- A skin test is recommended for sensitive skin.
AROMAVITA to use for diffusion:
- Add 5 to 10 drops of the complex (AROMAVITA: 1, 6, 7, 8, 15, 49, 93, 95) to your diffuser.
