Headaches are one of the most common health problems. Some suffer from random occurrences while other have to deal with a more chronic form.
AROMAVITA 16 can serve as an alternative to conventional painkillers, offering quick and effective cephalic pain relief.
A holistic approach reveals that headaches are caused by a relative difficulty of blood flow in brain capillaries. The blood circulates poorly, which leads to pain. Unlike conventional approaches, which focus on the symptoms via analgesics, we seek to act on the cause of the problem through vasodilation and easier blood movement.
All essential oils present in AROMAVITA 16 can be considered pain relievers. Peppermint, an archetypical aromatic analgesic, has the most crucial role in this formulation. Having both a heating and cooling effect, it promotes both vasodilation and blood flow. When paired with Basil, an excellent digestive regulation, it can also aid in cases of digestion-related headaches.
Headaches can also be caused by stress and nervous system imbalances. For this reason, calming oils such as Roman Chamomile and Ylang-Ylang have been included.
In summary, AROMAVITA 16 offers both a balanced composition and performance that can be administered via localized massage at the first onset of symptoms.

Adults ( ≥ 18 years): Local topical application: add 4 drops to 5 ml of neutral vegetable carrier oil and apply across the forehead and temples at 15 minute intervals up to 3 times per day. Do not use essential oils undiluted. For occasional use only. Not for oral use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Store at room temperature.
Cautions and warnings:
- Keep out of reach of children.
- If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner.
- If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
- Avoid exposing affected/treated areas to sunlight.
- Do not expose the applied area(s) to the sun for 24 to 48 hours after application. (AROMAVITA 7, 8, 16, 49, 82, 95, 98, 101)
Contraindications:
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product.
- If you have broken, irritated or sensitive skin do, not use this product. (AROMAVITA 1, 7, 8, 16, 49, 55, 80, 82, 93, 95, 98, 101)
Known adverse reactions:
- If you experience nausea, dizziness, headache or an allergic reaction, discontinue use.
- Hypersensitivity has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
- A skin test is recommended for sensitive skin.
AROMAVITA to use for diffusion:
- Add 5 to 10 drops of the complex (AROMAVITA: 1, 6, 7, 8, 15, 49, 93, 95) to your diffuser.
