Description

Natural Factors SelenoExcell Selenium contains organically bound high-selenium yeast for enhanced absorption and use by the body. Selenium is an essential trace mineral that helps maintain normal function of the thyroid gland. It is also a source of an antioxidant that helps reduce the oxidative damage caused by free radicals.

Selenium is a core component of the body’s selenoproteins, such as the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase and enzymes that activate thyroid hormones. These roles allow selenium to support important processes throughout the body.

SelenoExcell originates from a non-GMO Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strain. As the yeast grows, it creates compounds resembling plant-derived forms of selenium, similar to those found in food sources.
