Description

The herb is has nervine, thyroid-regulating, anti-bacterial and antiviral properties. It is used in insomnia, digestive complaints, Graves disease, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, Alzheimer's disease, delayed menstruation, headaches, chronic fatigue syndrome and herpes.

Potential side effects/Safety

Avoid in pregnancy. Generally well tolerated. May potentiate sedative effects of CNS depressants, and alcohol. Additional drug interactions may exist.
