Iodine (Potassium Iodide) 500 mcg
microcrystalline cellulose

Description

Potassium iodide (KI) is the stable (non radioactive) form of iodine. Orally, it is used as thyroid support, an expectorant, and in fibrocystic breast disease. Topically, it is used as an antiseptic, for diabetic ulcers, and in prevention of mucosal complications in chemotherapy.

1 serving (1 capsule) daily or as directed.

Potential side effects/Safety

Caution in hyperkalemia. Generally well tolerated. Individuals with autoimmune thyroid disease my have increased sensitivity to KI.
