Indications

Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve respiratory disorders (such as coughs, bronchial illness/bronchitis) and as an expectorant (helps reduce excess mucus from the upper respiratory tract).

Ingredients

Fresh (organic) herbs 1:2 each 0.5 ml contains:
Horehound (Marrubium vulgare) (aerial part flowery) 55 mg, Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) (root) 45 mg, Elecampane (Inula helenium) (root) 45 mg, Wild Thyme (Thymus serpyllum) (aerial part flowery) 40 mg, Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) (flowering top) 25 mg, Ground Ivy (Glechoma hederacea) (herb top) 20 mg, Lanceleaf Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) (leaf) 20 mg.
Non-medicinal ingredients: 50% organic ethyl alcohol, water.

Description

Actions: Emollient, pectoral, mucolytic, expectorant, antispasmodic.
Use for: Cough, bronchitis, mucous elimination, lessen risk of infection

Quantity

50 ml

Dose

Adults: 15 drops 3-5 times daily in a little water for a few hours before or after taking medications or natural health products.
• Take before meals.

Potential side effects/Safety

Cautions: If symptoms persist, worsen or if cough persists, consult a health care practitioner or a doctor. If you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of hands, face and feet) or are taking products containing diuretics, do not use this product. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner immediately if dizziness, mental confusion, weakness or muscle pain, irregular heart beat and /or difficulty breathing.

Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. May cause allergic reaction, especially in people with an allergy or sensitivity to other plants in the Asteraceae family.

Known adverse reactions: Upset stomach, nausea and diarrhea. An allergic reaction may occur. Interactions with other drugs: This product may interact with other medicines administered concurrently, particularly those with similar or opposite effects.
