    Livton Complex contains Dandelion, False Bupleurum, Fringe Tree, Globe Artichoke and St Mary's Thistle (Milk Thistle).

    Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive disturbances (such as dyspepsia) and increase bile flow.

    Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion) root 1:2 extract DHE 400mg
    Bupleurum falcatum (False Bupleurum) root 1:2 extract DHE 300mg
    Chionanthus virginica (Fringe Tree) stem bark 1:2 extract DHE 160mg
    Cynara scolymus (Globe Artichoke) leaf 4:1 extract DHE 800mg
    Silybum marianum (St Mary’s Thistle) seed 70:1 extract (Contains silymarin 80 mg) DHE 8g

    Description

    Livton Complex contains Globe Artichoke, Bupleurum, Dandelion Root, St Mary’s Thistle (Milk Thistle) and Fringe Tree. These herbs contribute key phytochemicals to the blend such as sesquiterpene lactones, caffeic acid derivatives, flavonoids, phenolic acids, triterpenes, sterols, flavanolignans (collectively known as silybin or silymarin) and triterpenoid saponins (called saikosaponins). The St Mary’s Thistle component of this tablet is standardised to contain 80 mg of flavanolignans per tablet to ensure optimal strength and qualit

    Adults: 1 tablet 3-4 times daily or as directed by your health care practitioner

    Potential side effects/Safety

    Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, or if you are taking metronidazole. Globe Artichoke is contraindicated in closure of the gallbladder. In anemia and cases where iron supplementation is required do not take simultaneously with meals or iron supplements. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anesthesia.
