Every living thing depends on having a healthy and correct pH to survive. Whether it’s a fish tank, garden soil or even your own body. Our cells and organs operate in a very strict pH environment. When we become too acidic or in some rare cases too alkaline,many functions of the body are impacted - from our digestive health to our bone health, to our immune health.

Your body maintains a very delicate balance of acidity and alkalinity in order to allow more than 200 enzymes and hormones to work properly within its tissues. CanPrev’s pH-Pro™ supports this process by neutralizing excess acidity and promoting alkalinity. Our bodies produce acids when we exercise (lactic acid), eat (sulphur acids, uric acid and carbonic acids) and breathe (carbonic acid and carbon dioxide). Stress and diets high in sugar, grains and animal products, can dramatically influence the body’s acid-base regulation.

pH is a chemical reference that indicates how acid or alkaline something is whether it’s household bleach, stomach acid or a dish of vinegar. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. A lower number indicates a higher level of acidity and a higher number means a greater level of alkalinity. A neutral pH environment hovers around 7. Your body tries to maintain a slightly alkaline level, from 7 to 7.4 for a great many functions. The body’s repair, metabolic, enzymatic and immunologic mechanisms work best when in this range.

CanPrev’s pH-Pro™ is an innovative alkalizing (acid reducing) product that provides approximately twice the amount of acid neutralising capacity in a single vegetable capsule compared to pH balancing tablets. The formula is blended in a base of all natural spirulina, avoiding the need for artificial fillers and providing a rich whole food source of phytonutrients, carotene and B vitamins. pH-Pro™ comes in easy-to-swallow vegetable capsules and just one or two can achieve an alkalizing effect. Individuals suffering from acid reflux or GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disorder) also find pH-Pro™ very effective.

For your convenience, a pH test strip booklet in a separately wrapped packet for saliva or urine testing is included inside the bottle. The pH reading on the test strip is generally a good indicator of how acidic or alkaline the total body pH is. Testing several times a day - first thing in the morning, mid-morning, mid-afternoon and in the evening for three days in a row will give a very reasonable idea of whether the body is functioning within a healthy pH range. In a healthy body, there exists a natural circadian shift between acidity and alkalinity. We are all more acidic in the morning, we become more alkaline in the mid-afternoon and return to a more acidic state in the evening.

Adults - Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times per day away from food or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine because the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered. Do not take continuously for more than 2 weeks unless directed by a healthcare practitioner.
