Quercetin is a flavonoid antioxidant with many anti-inflammatory properties. Pro Quercetin is effective in the management of hypersensitivity reactions (type I IgE-mediated reactions) that cause a histamine release, such as seasonal allergies. Quercetin alleviates allergies by stabilizing the membranes of mast cells and basophils, preventing the release of histamine.
