    Description

    Natural Factors Nattokinase is a potent fibrinolytic enzyme extracted and highly purified from traditional Japanese natto to support cardiovascular health. Natto is a fermented, cheese-like food that has been used in Japan for thousands of years for its popular taste and numerous health benefits.




    Nattokinase is a natural by-product of natto fermentation. It is formed as the beneficial bacteria Bacillus subtilis var. natto break down and ferment boiled soybeans. Natto is the only soybean preparation that contains the specific nattokinase enzyme and its recognized benefits.




    Scientific research shows that nattokinase is the active ingredient responsible for natto’s many favourable effects on cardiovascular health. It is recognized for having a fibrinolytic role, meaning that nattokinase assists with the natural breakdown of proteins involved in blood clot formation. This activity is why natto is a popular dietary staple among adults concerned about healthy blood flow.




    Our Nattokinase formula features NSK-SD®, a patented and highly purified form of nattokinase that has been used successfully in multiple human clinical studies.
