Description

Big Friends Echinacea helps relieve symptoms and shorten the duration of upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) for anyone over age five. When taken at the first sign of symptoms, this alcohol-free, liquid tincture provides supportive therapy in the treatment of common colds – so kids can get back to being kids sooner.

Echinacea purpurea has a long history of use in traditional medicine to help fight off infections and has the most significant clinical support of all the echinacea varieties. This Big Friends formula features ECHINAMIDE, a clinically proven extract standardized to E. purpurea’s three key active compounds: alkylamides, polysaccharides, and cichoric acid. While many supplements use only the purple flowers of this herb, ECHINAMIDE uses both the flowers and the therapeutic roots. Every 1 mL of the 1:1 liquid extract is equivalent to 1000 mg of fresh, certified organic herb, harvested when active ingredients are at their peak concentration.

Recommended dose:Take at the first sign of infection. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks. Children (5–9 years):1 mL daily with water or as directed by a health care practitioner. Adolescents (10–14 years):2 mL daily with water or as directed by a health care practitioner. Adolescents and adults (15 years and older):2 mL 2 times daily with water or as directed by a health care practitioner.
